Preadoption Care

From the day they are born, our puppies receive round-the-clock care and attention from our dedicated team. We ensure that the birthing area is clean and comfortable, providing a safe space for the mother and her newborns. Dew claws are removed shortly after birth to prevent any potential issues later in life, promoting the puppies’ long-term health and well-being.

As the puppies grow, we follow a strict worming schedule, administering deworming medication at 2, 4, and 6 weeks of age. This helps protect them from common intestinal parasites and ensures they start life with a clean bill of health. Additionally, at 6 weeks of age, our puppies receive their first veterinary visit, where they undergo a thorough examination and receive their first round of vaccinations to protect against common canine diseases.

We also pay special attention to their diet during this crucial stage of development. As they are weaned from their mother’s milk, we gradually transition them to goat milk, which provides essential nutrients and supports their growth and development.

Throughout this process, our puppies are not just cared for, but loved. They are socialized from an early age, receiving plenty of affection and interaction with humans and other animals. This helps them become well-adjusted and confident companions, ready to bond with their new families when the time comes.

We take pride in providing the highest standard of care for our German Shepherd puppies, ensuring they are healthy, happy, and well-prepared for their journey to their forever homes as healthy and well-adjusted companions.
